This brief will allow me to look into graphic design in the fashion industry, focussing specifically on branding. This brief ties in somewhat to my dissertation topic of consumerism and brand theory. As it is a live brief and a cross course collaboration with Shaun Somerville, it has to be negotiated and planned thoroughly in order to meet the requirements of both FMP projects.
I've already designed a logo for Shaun's desired brand name SO HOMME, this was for his recent module hand which will lead into his FMP. The logo is a starting point and was a quick and appropriate idea but the concept and design will be developed over the coming weeks to build a strong identity and put to practice the skills I want to develop within this brief.
