Marty has arranged a meeting with Jenny Crothers and Gina Martin who are helping us set up the launch party. We're going to keep in touch with them through regular meetings in college.
Things to cover:
- date of the event - time
- what we want /needs for the event
- posters
- event should be about the brand
- networking
- features?
- what do Jenny and Gina need from this event?
- who else will be there/who else will be involved or a part of the event
- promotion - will we be designing the flyers and posters etc?
- if yes what has to be advertised?
- outlaws logo
- our own logo
- date
- address of venue
- about the event (need to know is a fashion event)
- what will go on during the event?
Marty and I met with Jen and Gina and went over the list of things to cover. The most important item at this stage in the brief is the time and date of the event. Once we have this confirmed, Marty and I can then begin designing the invites and promotional material.
The girls didn't have a confirmed date for us however we discussed the best time for the event and decided on the last week before the easter (March 18th-22nd) as we'd all still be in Leeds and it gives us a bench mark to get all the work done.
The time of the event will be 7pm-11pm as Outlaws license doesn't permit them to serve after 11pm.
We also discussed arranging a meeting with Shaun who works at the bar to talk over what we need to include in the promotional material.
Jenny and Gina came up with the idea to use Youstream which would stream the event live on the internet so we could contact industry professionals in other cities and they could catch a bit of the event without having to journey to Leeds. We may not go ahead with the idea but its a very interesting proposal.
