Brief ideas.

I've begun to make notes on my ideas for the briefs I want to undertake for FMP. These are separate to the the competition briefs I've already listed.


OTTO events - collaborative brief with Marty Edwards aiming to promote the business and expand       the interest in the clothing.

OTTO collection 2 - collaborative brief with Marty Edwards with the purpose of producing a spring and summer range of clothing and packaging them.

Shaun Somerville - collaborative brief in which I will be brand Shaun Somerville who is a 3rd year Fashion student at LCA.

Book Fair - explore book binding methods and develop a range of products to be sold at the annual Leeds book fair.

Bretts fish and chip restaurant - rebrand and promote Brett's fish and chip restaurant in Headingley.

MONK's beverage range - carry the brand across a range of in house bespoke beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. This brief aims to continue the work from the previous brief and develop the bottle labels and the packaging and promotion of the beverages.

POPINAS - independent cafe and diner rebrand aiming to refresh and promote the popular cafe to new students moving into the area of Hyde Park.

Type generator - a brief investigating the development of typefaces with an open outcome of deliverables but with a purpose of creating 3 typefaces.

Suissh - a possible collaborative brief that will aim to create a new design blog inspired by Suisse design. The purpose of the blog and all other deliverables is open for the time being.

Glyphs - a brief aiming to explore and explain glyphs so that designers can use them more effectively.

Movember - every year Movember gets a redesign and has a huge range of deliverables. I have taken part in Movember for the past two years and its great way to raise money and its also fun. I've always appreciated the design work around it and would like to propose the next concept and design for the charity.

Design Clinic - a rough idea for a brief that will be housed in college on a weekly basis to give graphic design students across all years the chance to exhibit their work and get informal feedback at the same time outside of the courses existing crit process.

Personal rebrand - This would be a smaller side brief in which I would rebrand myself and create a range of useful deliverables that I could use when working on freelance work.


I'll have more ideas to add as I go along and I wont be taking on all of these briefs but I think this is a good start to the proposed ideas.
